About Food Allergy
About 25% of people believe they have a food allergy, but only 2% adult have food allergies, and about 6-8% of children, mainly younger than 6 years, have true food allergies.
The most common food defeated symptoms found in small children is allergic to cow's milk, because small children drinks cow's milk everyday. When they grow up then get more supplementary food such as eggs, and then they may allergic to eggs also.
Beside Milk and egg, the majority of food allergy cases in children are peanuts, soy and wheat, and for adult beside milk, egg, peanuts, soy and wheat also they allergy with seafood such as shrimp, crab, lobster and fish.
For some person, food allergies are so serious even only smelling the food, it can cause allergy very serious, in other hand for other person, the reaction only make itching a little bit and then disappear. However mostly food allergies become issue after they have eaten the food that make them allergic, and eating or swallowing even only a tiny amount of a particular food can cause symptoms of food allergy such as skin rash, nausea, vomiting, cramping, and diarrhea.
People can avoid food allergy by avoid food that give them problems for their body, and for children, their parents have to protect by keeping their children away from food allergies, and must inform everyone from neighbors to school. It is not easy, because processed foods can contain with ingredients of their food allergies, so it’s very important to read label of the product before buy it, especially for people or children that allergy with the foods, so with some efforts you can avoid yourself or your children from allergy suffering
